Dr. Whitehill, so sad to see you go...
To my beloved clients:
It is with a heavy heart that I announce to all that I will be making some changes in my schedule and therefore my availability at Premier Animal Hospital. Due to unforeseen and persistent health issues, I will be moving to part time only effective January 1, 2012. This decision was one of the most difficult I have had to make in a long time but unfortunately necessary. I have loved my time here at Premier and have been a huge part of Premier's history. My career started here long before I became a veterinarian. I was Premier's first technician, and have watched it grow over the past years. My only time spent away from the clinic was while I attended veterinary school, but always returned over summer and Christmas break. As much as I love the clinic, it is minimal compared to the amount of love I have for my patients. It has been a blessing and complete joy to have the honor of taking care of your pets. The relationships that have developed and experiences that were shared will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am saddened more by knowing that I can not be more dedicated to you than I am by my current health problems. My biggest comfort in all this is that I know as long as you are at Premier your pets will still receive the same care and love I have always given them. Throughout my career I have not worked with a more talented or compassionate group. Dr. Daigle, Dr. Miller, and Dr. Huggins will be there for you and your kids while I work through these trying times. The level of passion and ethics that are not strived for but are what we do and expect here at Premier. They are not pets to us, just children with an abnormal amount of hair.
I thank you for your understanding as I go through some changes in my life. I want you to know that I cherish all that we have shared and even though my schedule will be limited I will still be available to you, my patients, my friends, your kids, to the best of my availability.
Sincerely
Dr. John Whitehill
